FAQ
Questions worth answering upfront
A few things people often want to know before getting in touch.
How do I book a session or course?
Send a message through the Contact page, mentioning which service you're interested in. For therapy and mindfulness, this usually starts with a free, no-obligation intro call to check the fit before any booking is confirmed.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. Sessions are treated as confidential in line with professional ethical frameworks (BABCP for therapy, BAMBA for mindfulness). The only exceptions are the standard, legally required ones — such as a serious risk of harm to yourself or others — which are explained clearly during your intro call.
Do you offer sessions in person, or only online?
It depends on the service. Therapy is offered online (video or telephone), wherever you're based in the UK. Mindfulness courses run online. Yoga includes a weekly in-person class and chair yoga session near Welshpool, alongside online 1:1 and pregnancy/postnatal options.
Do you accept health insurance?
Not currently — therapy sessions are arranged privately and directly rather than through an insurance provider. If this changes, it will be reflected here and on the Therapy page.
What happens if I need to cancel or rearrange a session?
Life happens — just get in touch as early as you can. Full cancellation and rescheduling terms, including notice periods, are set out in the Terms & Conditions.
Is this service suitable for a mental health crisis or emergency?
No — this is not a crisis or emergency service, and there can be a wait between sessions. If you're in crisis or at immediate risk, please see the support and crisis information on the Disclaimer page, or contact emergency services.
Do I need any equipment for online sessions?
Just a private, quiet space and a stable internet connection for video calls, or simply a telephone line for phone-based therapy sessions. For online yoga, a small clear space to move in is enough — a mat is helpful but not essential.
I've never tried yoga or mindfulness before — is that a problem?
Not at all. Every class, course and workshop is designed to welcome complete beginners as warmly as those with existing experience, and postures or practices can always be adapted.
How do I make a complaint?
If something hasn't gone as expected, please raise it directly first via the Contact page — most concerns can be resolved through an honest conversation. Formal routes through relevant professional bodies are also available and are outlined in the Terms & Conditions.
Where can I ask something that isn't covered here?
Send a message via the Contact page — I reply to every enquiry, usually within 2 working days.
