Yoga classes
Yoga that meets you exactly as you are
Yoga balances the body — building strength, stamina and flexibility — while giving the mind room to slow down. It's genuinely accessible: whatever your age, ability or experience, there's a way in.
Weekly community class
A weekly all-abilities class in the local community, focused on yoga postures, breathing techniques and relaxation. Every body is a yoga body — you don't need a particular shape, size or level of flexibility to take part.
Chair yoga
A gentler, seated approach to yoga, ideal if standing or floor-based movement isn't comfortable. Held Monday mornings during term time at COWSHACC (Clive's Own Welshpool Scout Hut and Community Centre), 10.00–11.00am.
- COWSHACC, Welshpool
- Monday mornings, 10–11am (term time)
Pregnancy & postnatal yoga
An 8-week online course teaching postures that are safe and beneficial throughout pregnancy, alongside mindfulness practices to support your wellbeing as a mother. Includes an individual 30-minute 1:1 session before and after the course.
1:1 yoga
Individual yoga teaching, online or in person, tailored entirely around you — a good option if you'd rather build a personal practice than join a group class. Programmes can address physical conditions, psychological needs, or both.
Community partnerships
Yoga for Wellbeing
A 6-week Yoga for Wellbeing course is also available for community and charity groups, adapted to suit specific needs. This course has been delivered in partnership with Ponthafren, a local mental health charity, for its members.
New to yoga? That's exactly where to start.
Every class and course is designed to welcome complete beginners just as warmly as experienced practitioners.
